Re: Who is and who isn't updating?
I 'm still playing with the old game but now hibernating the little guys two or three days at a time, rather than logging in morning, noon and bedtime for their activities. A couple of days a week, I'll give them an happy family activity day and tweak their houses a little but otherwise not engaging...

Re: Re track on yesterday's pos
Seconded. I once put a rather political rant on here that I beat myself on the head over when I read it back. It's tempting to clutch at straws when we're feeling challenged and this update has proved taxing to the majority of us. Hug.

Now that is plain sneaky of them!!Hufflepuff Karen wrote:I have been getting that ad, or the survey, every time I open the game. I always wait for the X to appear so I can cancel it. Yesterday, they moved the X.

Re: And if we don't update...?
From what I've read, I believe lots of Android users had no choice in the matter. :( Note: the next section HAS been written by a Mom, whose son came home with a drum kit yesterday, so may be slightly more acidic than is my wont. Warning about a sneaky trap for the unwary... My game flashed a new ad...

Re: Green or Red Bar next to Avatars?
Desiree, have you updated? I think the ageing circle goes right round the avatar at equal width on the updated version. I haven't updated and I'm playing my old game as what passes for normal in my Sims's world ie breakfast, lunch break and after supper. The semicircle is to the left of my Sims's av...

Darn! There goes my act of rebellion. Back to the drawing board.nogard0 wrote:
since the game is on our devices and only the teeny bits of save data are on their servers ... it would make no biigies for some to get cleared ... hardly anything they would notice.

Any pigs flying in the rarefied air over that rainbow?
Very little chance. I'm sure They think we'll all come to heel and they hope those who don't will simply quit and free up some server space.

'Magician' featured heavily in the various pre-update surveys...
Had it been the option other than geek, It would almost have been a reason for updating until I realised the update entailed the death clause.

Re: The cycle of life
TanyaLeone, please read Karen's middle paragraph. She succinctly expresses how many people feel. Am i too indifferent? Am i too used to the natural order of things that it doesnt bother me? You are who you are and I am who I am. Our points of view may differ but I don't think this is merely a questi...

Re: Favorite games besides SFP?
If I recall right, nico is an italian term for a handsome boy, like a stud. Wtg!! I need to work that one into the conversation. Granny respect. By the way, I was given a complete run through on the pros and cons of sandbox gaming by a nine year old I was teaching today. Lost me on flip flop gates ...
