I was playing when that update started and am nowhere near having complete monuments. As a matter of fact I hardly ever get resources and just ignore them.

glad to see this thread as I have been searching for alternatives to sfp. I hope there are more games to choose from until I wake up from this "life dream".

Do they really expect the game will have longevity or will hold the attention of new players for long if their sims keep dying? more questions...is there any benefit now for having a large town value, or relationships? I guess you still have to get married to have babies, but am wondering about tearing down and selling some of the houses since I can't see the advantage to having empty houses anymore. please advise.

never mind, I found a toy in the toddler store that does it.
