I have the walls and floors unlocked, but for some reason the only way I can get Latin furniture, windows, and countertops is if I build and pilfer a Villa. Surely there's a way to unlock these items for purchase?

What's the likelihood of this coming back? I keep seeing Architect homes with these items but no idea how to earn them. Especially interested in the rugs and kitchen countertops with the lights above them.

I mean, I know what we're getting are retextures of the countertops from the French Romance event, but dark brown would be nice. Light and/or dark brown windows and doors with the inset glass would be exactly what I'm needing Hopefully sometime...

Is there any quest which unlocks the piano as a purchaseable item for your sims' homes? The piano at the restaurant looks like it would go well with the French villa I'm putting together.

I should ask... the "free reverse aging" thing, that's staying, right? I heard about the forced auto-aging and have dreaded the approach of that quest ever since.
