Use of
s in your post

Post by Perturbee » 26 Nov 2013, 16:36

I guess some might find it a little puzzling how this thing works, but it is very useful to hide certain text that could be considered a spoiler and you want to hide.

An example:
This piece contains your hidden text and only folds open when someone clicks the above title.
You can use multiple lines, formatting, or colours and even links!
http://simsfp.blogspot.com/
The code is achieved with the spoiler= button and should look like this:

Code: Select all
This piece contains your hidden text and only folds open when someone clicks the above title.
(...snip...)
I hope this helps.

Happy Simming!
Testing
Just follow the code given exactly and write what you want to hide between the 2 tags. Use the full editor to preview your reply to make sure you got it right.

You have to use
full editor
Not just
quick reply
Hehe
then, after the first parenthesis spoiler equals, use the quotation marks, type your visible text, and use the quotation marks again before the closing parenthesis.then in between the closing parenthesis of the first spoiler word and the opening parenthesis of the second spoiler word, type in your hidden text.
I had trouble with it as well until I looked closely at Perturbee's post and noticed those quotation marks and the word placement. Hope this helps.
Edit: thanks, Perturbee. I hadn't figured out how to do it before your post.
