This quest is for the restaurant. You have 6 days 23 hours and 59 minutes to complete it to unlock chef outfits for your sims.

• 1. Build the Restaurant - costs §350,000 and takes 2 days and 18 hours to build
  2. Call a sim to the restaurant - immediately
  3. Be nice to the Grouch - 1 minutes
  4.Taste the Grouch's special dish - 1 minute
  5. Complain to the Grouch - 4 minutes
  6. Call the first judge on a phone - 3 minutes 12 seconds
  7. Take Wumples' order - 5 minutes
  8. Cook any dish for Wumples - cook any dish you have already unlocked in the "cooking" section - 1 minute is the fastest
  9. Serve food to Wumples - 10 minutes (tap on the plate and one of the actions will be "Serve Wumples".)
  10. Call the second judge on a phone - 3 minutes 12 seconds
  11. Take Santa's order - 5 minutes
  12. Cook pizza for Santa - 40 minutes
  13. Serve food to Santa - 10 minutes (just like serving Wumples)
  14. Call the final judge on a phone - 3 minutes 12 seconds
  15. Take the Grouch's order - 8 hours
  16. Make a quiche for the Grouch - 3 (or 4 )hours (need to be at level 4 in the cooking hobby!)
  17. Serve food to the Grouch - 10 minutes (like serving Wumples and Santa)
  18. Investigate what the Grouch dropped - 5 minutes (tap on the glowing blue X on the ground by trash can )
  19. Have a toddler make a mud pie - 3 hours (have the toddler tap on a gardening plot)
  20. Go to the restaurant - immediately
  21. Give mud pie to Grouch - 4 hours
  22. Open front door - costs §25,000 and takes 1.5 hours to repair

You have unlocked the Candlelit Fork restaurant! Now you get to spend the time to repair it - works just like the stables.

Unfortunately, I have got to do the In Da Clubhouse and Bread winner quests. I don't mind doing the bread winner because it's related to the new restaurant, but I'm annoyed at having to do the In Da Clubhouse quest. I've got no toddlers or kids anymore in my town as I'm done with families since the death update. Really annoyed at having to complete this quest before getting the restaurant.

Where do I find the chopping board so I can make spaghetti? Please and thanks.

The chopping boards to use at home are unlocked once completing the cooking hobby grid the first time. However, there is a chopping board in the kitchen at the new restaurant. The good news is that you don't need to make the spaghetti to level up (and thus complete the grid) you can level up by cooking any of the recipes.

I've gotten up to the part where I'm supposed to take santas order but I don't see Santa anywhere. I looked at the restaurant and the house I called from but he's not at either location. Is it my game or am I missing something?

Edit: he just randomly showed up after the third time a closed and reopened the app.

I got to the part where it says "investigate what the grouch dropped" but I don't see a glowing X anywhere - is it some place public like the park or restaurant or the house where my sim was cooking?

It won't be at a public place. It should be on the ground by the trash can at the house the grouch was in. If it is not there, try the house where the first sim in your sim tracker lives. And if you still can't find it look at all your houses.

it was at the house of my first sim - the sim I have doing the quest is on a house boat and those don't have trash cans or mailboxes. Thanks!
