When I was at work yesterday, a customer came in who had long dreadlocks and a bandana just like the fellow in the picture. He didn't have an eyepatch but he was wearing dark glasses. It was all I could do not to lean over and whisper, "Are you a pirate?"

And not as all as advertised! According to the quest info the Pirate Fashion Pack is supposed to include, "pirate hats, eye patches, dreadlock hair, and more!" They make it out to seem like these are all different items but in reality those are all in one item (I guess they consider the bandana to be a 'hat'?) and there isn't any more.

I really like the tattoos shown in the picture...

I'm not so much interested in tattoos, because they take away make-up and beard. I looked a bit closer at the picture and then at the salon. The shown tattoos are there ... for 11000 simoleons and 2 LPs. But I don't know, whether they are new

Yay! Those tattoos are definitely new and I know exactly who is going to get that mermaid tattoo! I do wish FM would redo how the salon works, though. In real life people can have a beard, eyebrows that match their hair color, or makeup at the same time as tattoos.

This is not as advertised either. The quest says that if we finish it we will have access to the pirate ship. Looking at it from afar is not access. Do you think there will be a second quest?

The pirate hairstyle does not go with the pirate costume. The teens can't wear it. And we get to spend our game currency to slowly complete a statue that we aren't even sure exactly what it will do? Good thing the quest itself has been fun to do. But for the rewards, what were they thinking!
