An odd thing just happened in my game. My game just completely skipped over the "Set the Bait" task. It never even popped up. It went straight from the "Discuss Plan With Clay" task to the "Pet the Deer" task.
Is this happening to everyone?

I didn't have to do the Set the Bait task either.

Thanks Perturbee am I right in thinking if we don't complete the survival hobby in the time limit, we can't have the picnic stuff on the campgrounds?

Yes, on the blog I wrote: "Finishing within the given week UNLOCKS..."Simmer1986 wrote:Thanks Perturbee am I right in thinking if we don't complete the survival hobby in the time limit, we can't have the picnic stuff?
As with a lot of time-limited stuff, you can't get it afterwards.

Aw okay, hopefully a week will be enough time to complete it in, the 2hr 30 mins time for the hobby seems likely enough to succeed

I would have finished the quest within the time limit but, despite setting an alarm, I forgot to open the app in time to do the last 30 second task, so I totally missed out on the sleeping bags. I honestly hate the timed quests - they are not busy life-friendly. D:

If you did a game save, you may be able to download the last save and then beat the timer for the last 30 second task.autumneffect wrote:I would have finished the quest within the time limit but, despite setting an alarm, I forgot to open the app in time to do the last 30 second task, so I totally missed out on the sleeping bags. Does it work like that? My experience is that it does not matter if you download a previous save - the time is still counted...

No unfortunately is doesn't work like that. Resetting your game does not also reset the clock in your game. Time keeps going. So a reset wouldn't help.+.jana.+ wrote:Does it work like that? My experience is that it does not matter if you download a previous save - the time is still counted...
