You must be at least Level 7 to unlock this build mode feature. Visit Lee at the Nightclub venue to access the ‘L-Shaped Rooms’ Feature Quest.

This feature quest can be purchased for either Social Points or Simoleons. Select one to beginn the quest. The price depends on what level you are in the game. There is no time limit to it and no limited time prize. It just unlocks a new feature.

Once the quest is completed, when you select ‘Rooms’ in Build Mode and tap the „Room Renovator“ button, you’ll be able to use the yellow anchor points to drag sides of each wall to create the ‘L’! (Arrows only appear on walls that can be moved.)

Note: Times may vary as they depend on the star rating of the used objects and your Sim‘s mood. (Inspired Sims will be faster, happy Sims will do the tasks at a normal speed, sad Sims will need more time.)

Tasks:

1. Talk to Lee in the Nightclub - 15 secs.
2. Get psyched with Lee - 30 secs.
3. Watch DIY Homes (from a tv) - 36 secs.
4. Peruse room designs (from a Computer) - 24 secs.
5. Call Bree the builder (from a phone) - 48 secs.
6. Discuss L-shapes with Lee - 30 secs.
7. Admit defeat with Lee - 1 min., 15 secs.
8. Send your sim home
9. Build or resize a room
10. Create an L-shaped room
11. Modify an L-shaped room
12. Question reality (at a mirror) - 1 min.
13. Lose your mind with Lee - 5 mins.
14. Say goodbye to Lee - 45 secs.

Well FireMonkeys, I am ready to start breaking hands & heads and removing voice boxes!!! You have to be bloody kidding me with having to BUY the “privilege” to do this quest. And for charging either 175 SP or §7,050,000 for that “privilege”!

There had better be room in one of the very lower Circles of Hell waiting for everyone at FM and they need to decamp to there soon.

Yes, they got my seven million too. I wish I had this before I built my new house. I might rebuild it if I can figure out exactly which lot I can ride broomsticks on.

I still have not done the driveway quest as I do not want multiple driveway very much. Or at all, really. Certainly not bad enough to shell out 8 million simoleons.

I would rather they had provided "doorways" of various widths that went from floor to ceiling. They could be used to make L shaped rooms, rooms with bump outs, porches, etc.

Does anyone know if there are any requirements for doing the feature quest? I am on level 55 and there is no one at the nightclub after I updated. Anything else besides level 7 I am not aware of? Am I doing something wrong?

Go to town view and it pops up as soon as you choose any of 3 locations (town, island, downtown)

Hmm... Nothing popped up for me.

Are you by any chance doing a discovery quest right now?

Nope, no Discovery quest or any other quest besides the new influence island.
