Hopefully this can start some Q & A, tips, etc. for this career. Since I'm new at this, I have more Q than A!

My sim is at level 8.

Q. She has a fashion runway and chairs in her shop, but I can't figure out how she uses them. They sure take a lot of space for having no function.

Another Q. I have a clothing rack. One activity choice is greyed out. When I tap on it, it says it's blocked. I can't figure whether the block is because of how it's placed (I've tried moving it with no improvement) or because I need to level up. Anyone know?

If it says blocked it probably means that there is problem with placement. If it doesn't look like anything is actually blocking it it could just be a bug, putting it in inventory and back out might help?

Good idea, tried it, still not available

I'm sure you know by now about the runway - it eventually is used for a risky action.

I also have the blocked action. But if it was really blocked both actions would be blocked so I think it's definitely a glitch.
