Wow! Looks like they might have the same shoes and necklace on, too? The necklace Brynn is wearing is the one I accidentally bought with simcash. By far the most expensive item I've ever purchased so every female has to wear it now.

Brynn's retired in my town now so I guess now we know for sure that retiring a sim in your own town doesn't affect the versions of the sim our friends are interacting with.
Well, maybe she'll just stay in my game until the relationship story I started with her finishes up. I'll have to check afterwards and see if I can still socialize with her after finishing.
A besty of Mina has been retired and also has left her family. But she is still in Mina‘s contacts and I often see her on public places and at home. All of my sims can interact with her.

So maybe if you have one main sim you keep, and make them friends with everyone in your home, you can still see the sims that move out.

Hilarious. She's a fashion designer grandmother who refuses to retire (or get old fashioned).

That's interesting, because one of my friends retired her Sim and I was able to continue the story I was doing with her, but she appeared to be a senior.

And maybe a week later, I still have the green socialise button for her, but she refuses to show up when I tap it.

Must be trouble in the Askew house. Contrary and her daughter (?, we can't see how other's sims are related) came and ate at the restaurant at separate tables with their backs to each other.

And, yes, that's Eli snogging one of my sims in the background. Hope he's not in trouble back home. (Again, we can't see relationships of other's sims, so no way to know if that cute guy is single or has a wide and houseful of kids back home.)

And I even made her wider in the waist etc. when she was older. 😁 But she started out with a default body which had fairly "Barbie doll" proportions.

 Yes, Contrary is the matriarch, and the other three are her kids!

I also wish we could see other sims' relationship status! My sim Lyric was eyeing up Eli as well, but afraid to make a move because what if he's actually married?! Perhaps I take this too seriously!

I feel like our sims need some kind of Sim Tinder or Craigslist. I know you can have other people's Sims move in, and vice versa, but how are you supposed to know if that simmer would be up for that?

No worries, everyone! Eli is single, although he does have a houseful of kids. I've only done friendship relationships with him and adoptions. :D
