I built a house on the island and there is no beach view, but I DID notice that you can hear something like a waterfall nearby. Lots of birds singing, too - very tranquil sound effects. None of my regular lots, the big lots by the beach in the main town sound like that.
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)
