SFP Simms going to work and school

Hi Simmers, is anyone else having this problem, I am am on Amazon Kindle Fire and have the latest Update with teens but still cannot get most of my Sims to work or pre-teens to school? I know this was an issue pre update however it still not working any ideas?

Have you ever used the time cheat?
bazlit on Game Center (not updated to simpocalypse)
HFN at starter house. Ghost hunting at 1 Museum Blvd.
