Getting to the current (hope they increase it soon!) population maximum for my town at 32. Wondering what people's breakdowns are (who have the max 34) here's mine.

I was thinking of letting the baby age to toddler, but I'm not sure if there are weekly tasks that involve babies, anyone know?

On the current maximum population in the game, what is the reasoning behind the age demographics beyond a few couples and at least one of each age group, are there many other considerations other than personal preference, beyond that? TIA

Maybe, four of the preteens, the toddlers and the baby will grow up soon. Actually I like the new look of the babies, but Kristy doesn't look like herself anymore

There are at least two weekly goals for babies; feed and change diaper. With the new interactions and tasks there might be more now. Not sure, if I want to pay the LPs to skip those goals.

I have: two babies, one male and one female, and three toddlers, two female and one male. Basically there are just enough of each for the xylophone and finger painting hobbies. I may grow the male baby to toddler once I have all the clothes.

I have five preteens, three female and two male. The extra girl was my ghost girl. I have six teens, four female and two male. I used to have just four teen idols, but needed extra teens to complete hobbies other than teen idol.

There are two seniors, one male and one female. The rest are adult. I believe there are ten of each sex. All but four are married couples.

I have so many toddlers as I use them to earn LP in the playhouse. The adults are mainly cooks and the teens and preteens are divers, so I can LP grind. I have one more Sim to get when I reach level 55, I was thinking of having another baby but I might have to add a female preteen as I like things evened out properly!

Yep LOL evened out properly vs useful hobby grinders... it's difficult great to see what you all have and the thinking behind it - very enlightening and helpful!

Good to know there are baby weeklies... I will keep the baby then. Thanks!

I sometimes move sims out of town if needed but always bring the same sims back. Or I change the kids ages temporarily, like for the musical expression hobby or the finger painting hobby. Before the Life Dreams update I had a designated Senior couple (Evelyn and Gerald) but once the life dream process started I brought them back as the younger versions of themselves (Evie and Gerry). Now that everyone is platinum I may age them up to seniors just to have every age group covered. I don't have many kids, I think, because when I started playing the game there weren't even babies in it and I've only ever played this Sims game so I got used to only having adults.
