My Sims are Cold In the House, Even with a running Furnace

Post by kassiekie »

Hello,

Is it normal for my Sims to be shivering from cold inside a home with a furnace running and Fireplace on?

I don't have any open doors (Archways) or anything. My sims have coats on and things such as that. But they don't shiver when sitting down. I think my toddler has a death wish...She shivers inside so goes outside to sit on a bench....

I don't know if this will kill them and I'd really not like them to die from cold in their own homes....

Any help appreciated (or insight)

Thanks!

Are you by any chance Day 2 of the Secret Winter Wonderland quest? The shivering is because of that. Don't worry! It won't kill your sims. It is just am animation to make the quest fun.

While sims can die in this game it is only after completing the Life Dreams and Legacies quest and only seniors pass on when they have reached the end of their life span (which is reversible or pausable).

I spent some time staring at various sims trying to see some indication that they were cold, but mine don't seem to feel the cold :(

Mine do (during the Secret Winter Wonderland quest, of course), but only when they are not inspired.
