Can't complete "Collect treasure from a neighbor's dog

I click on the exclamation point when the dog digs something up and it won't complete it! Anyone else had this problem and what did you do to solve it? Thanks =)

I'm not on this goal and I'm not sure when it will come around again in my social tasks so I don't have first hand knowledge of this but it seems from posts I've seen on Facebook that the goal not being completed is a glitch. The only solution then would be to either wait for FM to fix it or use 10LPs to skip the goal.

I had that goal recently, and I thought that it wasn't completing. But then I re-read it, and the goal was actually to collect treasure 10 times from a dog. Maybe that's what's going on? Just a thought.

That's a weekly goal not a social goal. The social goal is to "collect treasure from a neighbor's dog".

I just did the easter update today. This was my third social task since the update and I have the same problem. I even double checked, to make sure it didn't ask to do it during a specific time. Wonder when FM will fix it.

I doubt this is the problem, but I figure I would share the thought just in case. I remember one time that I had a weekly task where the title of the task did not match the description. I think it was some sort of baking task. The title of the task might have been "Bake chocolate chip cookies" or something- but the description made it clear that brownies were in fact the item to be baked. (The task only completed once I did the task as described by the description) Could it be possible something similar is going on for you guys?

Here is the social goal that is glitched. It says to collect treasure from a neighbor's dog and the description goes along with that.

The same social goals have been in the game since July 2013. They just repeat over and over so any long time player will get to know these goals by heart.

Hopefully this glitch can be fixed with a push and not require an update.
