In order to get the last badge at the movie studio, I need to help two important sims. But I am unable to do so. the 2nd important sim never shows up. With the 15 sim cap, a second important sim doesn't show up and I can't get the badge!

I usually fill the badges them movie camera him/her to the next level, the sim is at 100% and waiting on the badge. The 100% is due to the fact that I play the shift outright and don't get the second important sim.

so I tried to make it so that the very first sim I help was an important sim, but 15 sims later, still no 2nd important sim. I tried helping only the sims that need the most tasks done in hopes that it would drive an important sim to the movie studio, that didn't help.

How can I get a 2nd important sim to show up during the same shift?

I wish I could combine double shift to have more sims to get the 2nd important sim but it resets when I start the 2nd shift.

hmm. Did I stump everybody? Perhaps I'm the only person who is having these difficulties?

Honestly I think the best way to get two important sims is to wait to get lucky. You will get two eventually I didn't have that much difficulty with it I think. My sims in professions are all level 10 now I think

I am just starting professions, so you may be on a level ahead of me. I didn't want to answer cause I may not know what I'm talking about, haha. But moving from level 6 to 7, I did not have to help the two important Sims in the same shift. It counted one on the first day of work and the second on the next day. Does the badge say it must be during the same shift? I am only at level 7.

If I start a new shift, doesn't matter if it is VIP double shift or the next day, it resets and have to start at the beginning (0). It is making me do them same shift

I'm having the same problem in all three professions. My nurse needs to help two important sims, my director needs to collect five film reels and my police officer needs to help three important sims. I'd been trying for months and I finally gave up. I had previously had luck by filling one need of an important Sim and saving him until the next shift, so I'd be starting a shift with one important sim already waiting but that hasn't worked for my current sims' badges. I just don't bother with the professions anymore. Or the marketplace events, for that matter. They annoyed me because anytime one was going on, it took away one of the customers when the courier guy was there, lowering my chances of getting the resources I needed to get the next badge.

You are definitely on track by trying to make an important Sim the first one helped. I recall it took me numerous shifts (days) until I got two. Which was longer than it sounds as I couldn't babysit the game on many days.

I would try to level up both of my professional Sims for a worksite at the same time for the two important sim task, (even though for other resources, I'd do them separately) to do it less times. I am VERY glad to be done with building worksites.

Sometimes it seems as though more important sims show up when you have un-specialised sims working, rather than the high level sim who actually needs them. Maybe you could try to lure then there with the low level sims, start helping them but not finish all the tasks, and then switch over to the sim working on the badge.

What does it look like when an important sim shows up on a work lot? Specifically the studio? I can't get past level 7 and this frustrating
