Present that I can’t open?

Just noticed a gift box next to one of my Sim’s trash cans, but I can’t interact or open the present. Anyone else have this or know what it is.

It looks exactly like the anniversary gift, but simsfreeplay anniversary is in december, so I have no idea why do you see it now, are you perhaps playing an older version of the game?

I have the same problem. I can get my Sims to open the gift but nothing happens afterwards except the gift shifts to a different position...

I can't seem to open my gift either every time I say open gift they open it then it goes to a different spot and I am not getting a gift and I don't know how to fix it. Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem.

It's a glitch - there isn't anything we can do to fix it. You can try contacting customer support. I have it in a game where I didn't open the free anniversary gift last December.
