Unofficial Sims (Freeplay/Mobile) Forum

I see there's a new live event, but I don't want to spend the time and effort if SFP will be gone soon. What does a new Sim Mobile Game really mean? What's the difference? (I haven't downloaded it...yet...)

My opinion: maxis (in the USA) and Firemonkeys (in Australia) are two different companies making two different games with different gameplay. Why are so many people fearing there cannot be two games of the same brand?

But I acknowledge that every software has a limited lifetime. So yes, Sims Freeplay will probably not exist forever. But we have no idea when Sims Freeplay will be abandoned and have its servers shutdown and I don't take this new game as a sign.

I don't think SFP will end soon. It is a very well established game with many regular players. And I believe freeplay and sims mobile are totally different games.. I've seen players having 2 very similar games in same device and enjoying both ( like farming games, candy crush and other games like it).
Also there are a lot of things that can happen in freeplay. Every update is bringing something really new. And I'm sure they can take the game a long way..

Hey I posted this video first but yeah the sims freeplay will keep going as long as it will have an active playerbase and it does have it currently, EA themselves said so, there is no crossover between the development of two games and the gameplay is different enough that I can definitely see myself continue playing both and switching depending on where events are happening

I just got into Sims Mobile this week. It's a change from SFP, which of late I have been a little bored. I will still continue playing SFP especially if there is an event or new updates.

Not a whole new forum but there is a Sub-forum for Mobile.
