Baby gender

I created another game and I completed the 2 and a half sims quest. I thought the baby I created was a boy. I gave it a boys name and then it shows up a daughter. Any way to fix my sim?
You can either delete the baby and make another one, or you have to spend 12 LP's for an ultimate makeover. Guess it depends if you have more simoleons or LP's. If you do the ultimate makeover you also won't have to wait another 24 hours.
