Hi everyone! I've been playing freeplay for a few years now, but none of my RL friends play. I just made a facebook account for my town, so if anyone else needs neighbours, feel free to add me! facebook.com / contrarysims

I have a (hopefully!) fully stocked property for SP goals, at 2 West Oceanside (the huge weird looking house next to the bridge to the island).
I am currently paused on the Ghost Hunting quest, so I'm not sure if ghost hunting will be possible in my town. Now that they've made ageing voluntary I will probably continue on to Life Dreams soon, though.

Welp, never mind! Facebook has disabled my account. I thought they had given up on that whole "real names" thing after the controversy with them banning performance artists and other people with legitimate reasons to use pseudonyms. Clearly I was wrong - what a bunch of buzzkills!. If they don't reinstate my account soon I'll probably just make a new one with my real name or a variant of it. Sigh.

Hi contrarysims! As long as you chose a name that looks 'normal' with a first and last name you should be okay. Why not use the name of your favorite Sim? Worth a try anyway.

Yes, I think I will try something like that. It was kind of daft of me to use such an obviously fake nickname.

Because it's more convenient when everything matches? For years almost all my stuff was some version of BloodRedRoses with numbers or a suffix like _whateverfandom as needed so I understand the impulse!
