Yo! EAFiremonkeys

You sent me a PM yesterday about a question I posted. I'm trying to respond but it said you have PMs disabled.

FYI, neither EA nor Firemonkey is here. This is a forum run by users/players of the game.

I thought so too, until I searched for the user name.

Hmm...If that's the case, I'll say it again. Wall lights compatible with furniture underneath... pretty please!
Distinctly unimpressed with EA.
Actively playing my old game for as long as I can.

That is VERY interesting. Creepier than NSA. That last terms and agreement was just bizarre.

Ah, great. Lurking here to learn tips and tricks that players use and shutting them down in their face without addressing actual bugs.

Isn't this Perturbee's blog? Don't they have their own (non-working) forum? Why would they lurk here and then a) not address bug issues that damage game play and b) spend all of their time "fixing" silly bugs that most of us consider to be "Easter eggs" - a little hidden quirk that keeps bringing us back to play, despite the bad bug issues? They will end up damaging this game the way Sims Social was damaged, making people so upset they stop spending money and then they give up and stop playing completely?

I have been a Sims player since SimCity came out on floppy disc with the secret codes on red paper so they could not be copied. I have spent real money on many versions of the Sim-branded games and all of the expansion packs and I have spent real money from app cards on this game. I don't understand why EA and/or Firemonkeys have such bad technical support that they need to use player generated forums and chats against their own customers? It seems to be a very strange way of doing business.
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

Well, that is disturbing. Of course, they would disable PMs too. They disabled their entire forum.

Now they are registered as a user here, people will probably come here to yell at them. I hope not. I like the pleasant atmosphere.

Perhaps they've gone complacent since no matter how buggy their game is, people keep playing them.

Yesterday when I was online I saw, to my great surprise, that Firemonkeys were here, too. They may have blocked us from seeing them when they are here since then (that's an option in the Control Panel - at least I think that is where it is!) But I was pretty shocked to see them here. I hope they can be good community members.

The Teen Idol Mansion cost increase has, for me (level 52+something) risen to about §8,500,000. Since I don't get the old daily reward, the mansion is now out of my grasp. Sadly, I suspect that was the FM intent with the price increase.

I have one Teen Idol Mansion - just the first free one.

It feels very odd to have the EAFiremonkeys here when they are not on their own (defunct) forum. In my opinion, this is bad manners, internet style.

Edited to show increase from 5.5 mil to 8.5 mil.
