You show remarkable restraint. Some folks have gone for hundreds of LP. I suspect they will fix this bug as soon as they get back from vacation or it may expire when the New Year's quest is over. I've been travelling, so I can only do it for an hour or so each night - I think I got about 150 LP. Hope to get a few more tonight.
I think I have gotten around 800 LP so far, spending a few on fireworks...
800? Oh my gosh that is a lot. :o

well, i made all, except 1, Sims repeatedly go on 1 hr tasks and spent each hour visiting neighbors...

this is, by far, the fastest to hoard LP and probably will not be for long...

Because my game had a glitch and I couldn't complete the Christmas goals myself this doesn't work for me. I'm so over glitches and the stupid firemonkeys. This is actually a good one and I can't utilise it because of a bad one! Gah.

Yeah, this is definitely faster than trying to get the bloody things normally...sigh...

Thanks for the tip, guys!

I would love to do this, but I have always had trouble visiting neighbors! I'm on an iPad air and have a very fast internet connection. My game loads very fast, internet runs fast, Netflix loads fast, so I don't think my internet connection is the problem. Most times when I try to visit it says connecting to server. Sometimes it's just a few seconds, but others it can be 15 minutes before my Sim gets there or gets back home. I always save before I try to visit, but it's still scary! Has anyone else experienced this or does my game just not get along with the party boat and visiting? I have no problems collecting my gifts. Loads instantly!

I think I've read about a glitch with the reindeer and their placement in the lots but I can't remember how to solve it. At one place, one reindeer is stuck on the frozen pond and won't move, and at another place, the reindeer is actually inside the house in the kitchen. How do I gt them to move so that they can roam like the others?

Try feeding them to see if they will move after that. They can only enter the house through double doors, not single spaced ones so you might like to change the door after you get it outside. If all else fails, try relocating to another house and back.

I've had reindeer stuck. Pretty much you have to move or rearrange things so that they have at least 2 squares around them. For some reason they can't handle a single-square turnaround or walkway. At least that has been the case for me. I had my initial free reindeer hanging out behind my sleigh at first. Originally I thought it was because he "liked" it there, but he was just stuck. I just moved the sleigh elsewhere, the reindeer walked off, and put the sleigh back.

I've also had reindeer in the house. I've noticed in one particular house they won't go any further than the entry (two story mansion) because there is the dining table and chairs right there. People can navigate around it just fine, but the deer can't. So once you have them 'moved out' of the house, just put some stuff in the way that a small pet and people can walk around (1 square) but the deer just can't handle that narrow of a space.

Conversely, if you want them to wander all over the house, give them plenty of space to get around!

I also have made use of this glitch, getting about a 100 LP, spending about half on my town sign. They'll prob'ly come back and make things really expensive, but whatever. I have money to pay for it now.

It's nice to see you back here Kgirl. And of course, in a pet thread! Aren't the reindeer wonderful? Not to take away from the dogs and cats of course. :)
