Right above the arrow that pops out the party and friends menu is an envelope with a red '1' icon as if I have a message. But when I tap on it, the party menu opens up and I don't see a message. When I close the menu the envelope with the icon is still there. Any thoughts?

This is very annoying to me as well. I think it is meant to be indicating that there is a friend's party that you can attend, but even after I have attended them, that darn red icon still hangs around.

Oh well at least now I know what it is! Thank you. I was wondering if I was missing messages from my friends.

I have had this too a few times. Today I was playing and it popped up again but when I clicked on it there was no message. Grrr very irritating!
