[HOLIDAY QUEST] NYE A Resolution Solution

Post by Perturbee » 26 Dec 2014, 08:07

It's a little ahead of the launch, but for those eager to peek or wanting to plan, I let the quest post (with times and pictures) go live today.

A Resolution Solution
The NYE quest, supposedly starting on the 28th, but by the looks of it, it starts on the 29th just past midnight. In any case, the blog post is live and the days are hidden like before and so are the spoiler pictures.

Note, this thread will be moved once the quest starts in the game.

I'm glad you're happy with them. It took me two days and a bit (9am - 10 pm or so with breaks) to get the Xmas one and this quest.
Add another day for the next quest (including the hobby that comes with it).

It's not easy to take pictures through a crystal ball, you need a lot of extra plumbing and magical tools, but I'm glad I managed.

I didn't do it for this quest, but the one that will be available after New Year's day. I have to be careful about what I post and when. FM has already warned me about another quest, they do keep an eye on my FB posts and they know me quite well. So I prefer to keep it outside their views in case they'll block me entirely from playing (and having to move to another account).

Yes of course I understand. Your updates and helpful hints are really useful though, this place has helped me so many times when I've been stuck on the game through glitches or not knowing where to find something so I just wanted to say a big thanks :)

Getting the texts isn't that hard, it takes time. It takes a lot more time to get the task times and will mess up the game and possibly the rest of the apps on the device. I have a spare, so I can reset it to factory state and don't mind messing around.

So, EA starts a FOUR-day quest less than THREE days before the completion deadline? :-(

Will they at least let us start the next day's tasks as soon as we complete the previous ones, or do we have to wait 'til 9am for the "day" to turn over and enable new Tasks (as with the CHristmas quest this year)?

Typical FireMonkeys/EA set-up to force players to spend LP to complete a Quest in time... and they wonder why so many players try to rip them off with LP cheats... *grumble*

Thanks for the blog post, and any info you can offer on how to beat their unfair deadline...
