The fairies are pets!!!! App store info says to complete the Royal Lineage quest to welcome pet fairies to your family so probably the limited time reward.

Archery and jester are the new hobbies.

New pop up to "Please enter your age to continue"
The castle is available from level 14 and the max cost is §1,000,000
Sims will now sleep under the covers and woohoo in a bed
Android layout is completely different (now both phones and tablets are the same), screen won't rotate to go with phone orientation
The "back" arrow for leaving the sim tracker, selecting actions, tapping on a busy sim... has changed
Can access the Mystery Box Shop after completing the weekly tasks again
The flashing notification for town revenue is back
Catwalk is now 3 hours 15 minutes
Quick rinse in a shower is 4 seconds (3-star)
Only partners can sleep in the same bed
Hibernation times have changed again (shorter, depending on star amount)
Windows phones get this update!!
Trouble selecting the White Bathroom Vanity (dove vanity) to put in inventory or to do any actions
Number of pets at the pet park is shown again
"Clear Weather" on weather machines now says "Sunny Weather"
Bathrooms at the Snow Park and Community Center are working again
"Water", "Juice", and "Soda" added to the Soda Machines
Snack Machines finally work, too ("Cashews", "Chocolate", "Potato Chips")
Le Tired Bed has a new look, and the flower petals on the Valentines Bed no longer form a heart
Sims are randomly changing out of their own clothes more often
Two options now for the L couch at the restaurant bar
Suite or Armor has new "Tinker" and "Admire" options
Added option on wardrobe to "Change into sleepwear"
Inspiration and haunted meter icons are switched on tablet devices
Ski lodge walls at the snow park aren't disappearing as they should
Ultimate Make-Over has a bug (when you change gender, their old first name becomes their last name)

Royal Lineage Quest - 7 days
Unlocks the drawbridge and limited time reward are the fairy pets.
Only thing that can be done ahead of time is "Grow Beans"


Send a sim to the castle
Search the bushes near the castle - 1 minute 20 seconds
Say “hello” to the fairy – 3 minutes
Pick flowers near the castle – 10 minutes
Show Fairy the flowers – 5 minutes
Ask about chivalry – 4 hours and 30 minutes
Dream about royalty – 10 hours
Cook brisket in the park – 1 day
Have 4 sims at the park
Call to meal
Tell the fairy about the feast – 3 hours 30 minutes
Thank the fairy – 5 minutes
Build courage on a park bench – 11 hours 30 minutes
Catch the monster fish – 6 minutes (probably have to do over and over), and then tap the “!” three times
Tell the fairy a fish story – 3 hours 30 minutes
Search SimList on a computer – 7 hours (3-star)
Grow Beans – 9 hours
Have two sims in the park
Trade beans with a sim – 10 hours 30 minutes
Return to the fairy
Answer “Yes” to the fairy’s question – 5 minutes
Encourage the fairy – 1 day
High five the fairy – 1 second
Ask the fairy about the bridge – 5 seconds

To get to the castle interior and get "closer to the royal throne and outfits" we need to complete the archery hobby and rebuild the garden statues in the garden.

There are 4 statues and they are unlocked for rebuilding by completing each row of the archery hobby. Entrance to the castle is the reward for completing the entire grid.

7 hours and 30 minutes is the only time option for archery. Teens and adults can do archery. It isn't a timed hobby.

The Royal Gallery will become available in 10 days.

Does anyone know if I do the update can I participate in the castle quest stuff if I haven't done the life dreams and legacies? Like is anything in the new update qued (sp)?

It's not queued. It's available at level 14 and is another Discovery Quest like the Sunset Mall and the Book of Spells so building the castle has to be done to trigger the quest.

I haven't noticed any price changes anywhere. Premium lot house prices are the same.

The "back" arrow when leaving the sin tracker and when tapping on an active sim has changed.

And the flashing notification is back when town revenue is ready to be collected.

My whole layout has changed on Android, has anyone else's? Gonna take some getting used to but sim tracker etc are a lot better.

You can go to the mystery box thing after completing the weekly tasks again but still can't continue to do anymore goals.
