Police Update 2 in App Store?

I'm a kindle player and the second update just appeared today. I guess I'll have to update because it's not letting me play anymore. I was able to play this morning but now I get the "cannot connect to server" screen.

I am pretty shure that this hase nothing todo with the update - maybe booting your device helps

I forced closed the app a few times and shut down twice and nothing worked (I did these earlier in the day.) Now it decides to let me in so I didn't have to update. Thanks for the help though.
