How do you mean? If you mean the "free x whatever number" that has always been in the game.

Some of the life dream locations require platinum orbs to build. Other than that, I'm not sure anymore.

Al of my sims ages are paused with platinum orbs and I guess with the new free cost all that saves me is the annoyance of having to reverse their ages every now and then.

They do still sell for §300,000.

They changed a part of the floor texture on the plot of the Neo Tokyo. It is still grass within in the grid, but looks like this in the area between the grid and the fence:

I am convinced it was grass all over previously, at least for the last two years. Does somebody care to check in a game that is not updated?

Here's a pic from Christmas update. I think that a long time ago, the Neo lawn used to be all blue. Looks like they are trying to compromise.

Most likely.

It seems all this does is removes the forced aging. All the other aspects of the life cycles, life dreams, and orb grinding seem to be the same.
