Re: New update and logo?
Someone has mentioned it has something to with penthouses? They have quoted a screenshot taken from something from FM, from what I saw it said something about a celebrity arriving in town and a penthouse getting built?

It's for penthouse/apartment, I believe.
It's on their FAQ.

Re: New update and logo?
They've updated their cover photo on Facebook and said, "Take your Build Mode dreams to new heights this week!"
I'm loving the doors, windows, and hanging plants. I hope we get those. And it will certainly be interesting to see how apartments/penthouses will work in the game.

I saw that this morning too. I'm excited about hanging plants. They make houses look better. I wonder what else they have in store for us?
Re: New update and logo?
I'm excited about a new place to build. Cityscapes should be great fun. I wonder if the city would be in the background like in the photo, that would be cool.

SFP has really been stepping up their game! I've liked almost all the new stuff in the last few updates an I'm really looking forward to having more places to build

Love those doors and windows! I wanted to put doors like those on my real house, until I realised how expensive and thermally inefficient they would be.
Is that a pool on a rooftop?! I was just describing my tendency to put everything on a rooftop on another thread.
It looks like part of the roof on the building next door is a glass roof/skylight. If we get to build with those they would be great for greenhouses and conservatories.
I'm going to guess that we get a single building plot on top of each city building. So only one household per city lot. It would be nice if they introduced a way to assign rooms or parts of a lot to certain sims. It's bedlam trying to run a hotel or apartment building in the game at the moment. Sims have no sense of property or personal boundaries!

Edward Hunter couldn't figure out why he got so few guests at his B&B.....could it be because he sits and watches them sleep?contrarysims wrote: ↑04 Jun 2017, 23:04 I'm going to guess that we get a single building plot on top of each city building. It can also be a bit of a pain in family homes. I suppose it's something of a right of passage, figuring out that your parents do the woohoo, but kids usually wouldn't settle in on a nearby armchair to watch the show.
