Streetwear Hobby Event - Starts January 13
Teen Life (repeat) Hobby Event - Starts January 23

Changes
3 new skin tones for all sims
Paperboy is giving x2 prizes like last year
Usuall holiday items for sale in home store
The 2011 Xmas tree removed from inventory *are now back*
Red and green Santa hats, black and green boots in wardrobe for adult female sims
Can’t place windows next to each other in corners
Can collect revenue from the Sea Voyage Boat
Adult males have the head with Santa beard
Wall hanging items (paintings, tapestries, posters) can be placed behind furniture
Sims can walk in front of the living green wall hangings
The Blue Oyster Bar is no longer available in the home store (may have happened on the previous update)
The Paperboy will give resources if you watch the videos at a profession workplace

I am loving the new skin tones! I only wish they had put the ultimate makeover on sale because I will definitely be changing up some of my sims and it’s going to get expensive.

I'm so excited about this! I have a few multi-racial families who can now have more realistic skin tones. Agree that some free/cheap ultimate makeovers would have been appreciated, buy I don't want to complain too much about such an awesome change.

The 2x prizes are back for the paper boy ads. If it’s like last year it will last throughout the whole update.

True, don’t want to complain already. And I think I’m only looking at spending 48 or 60 LP anyway, so it’s not too bad.

The Santa outfits are back for adult sims (and that weird sweater outfit for adult males). They get more expensive every year - now they are §50,000. If you buy them you do keep them all year.



And all the Christmas/Holiday items are on sale. This is usually the stuff they “gift” (read, temporarily unlock) to us for the past few years spread out through a few days. I doubt we’ll have new items so maybe they’ll just give us some of these for free.

I saw santa and his sleigh fly through my town twice (when I was in town view)!! I tried to tap on him to see if it would do anything, but nothing did. Anyone else see him/remember him from past updates?

Yes, since 2012 they've had Santa with his sleigh and reindeer flying across the town up through the 25th. Tapping on him doesn't do anything but it's still a nice little touch to see him fly across the sky!

May I check if I can start the quest at a different time after it pops up, as long as it is still available? As I will be overseas when this update is available.

Doesn't seem to be put yet for Kindle.
