It has been almost 8 weeks since the last update..when are we getting the new one, any idea? This holiday update was the best one after a very long time. I hope next event is also interesting..

Should be soon after the current teen idol event. I think that last year the update was the beginning of February.

I'm thinking we might see a trailer/teaser any day now.

I was just wondering about this. I hope we hear something this week.

Hmmm, hammocks look interesting. And are we getting horses as pets on properties? Or is this a special community lot? I guess we'll see soon!

Strange! Yes, it was a video. It was sims on an island with one main building on stilts in the middle of the island. It looked similar to the Tropical Romance Island but smaller. But it had the outdoor shower and a hammock like the Tropical Romance Island. There was a new bed (it looked like it was the same size as the king sized beds from the Snow Chalet but with a tropical theme). Then the video featured horse back riding on the beach - and couples riding on one horse.

I couldn't tell what about it was "pirate themed" but I could kinda see the "dating show" aspect in the video (I'm guessing some sort of "Bachelor" + "Survivor" mix up?) but it wasn't very clear.

Somebody has already pirated the pirate themed trailer on youtube!

I really don't know what to make of it. I can't see anything new, it's all items and characters recycled from previous updates (tropical romance island, Prima Donna from the downtown quest, the wizard...)

I wonder if the trailer wasn't quite finished and was accidentally posted?

Most likely someone was supposed to upload it as a scheduled post set to go live at a set time and accidentally uploaded it as a regular post instead. When it was posted was a rather unusual time for a trailer release.
