Re: Sleepwear quest

I have to admit I have been nearly non stop on the hobby, even going on it sometimes if I wake in the night just so I can get an extra cat walk done  I don't think I have much of a life haha. I tend to play a lot when there is limited time items and then I can relax lol

Thanks for the tip on doing the quest at a neighbor's town, that should help at least a little. I've only finished the grid once and had to use some LP too.

I also couldn't agree more with those who complained about everything being expensive and taking too long. I only finished the last castle garden statue on Friday, having worked on it with two Sims for who knows how many weeks, and I had to use LP to finish the grid because I was fed up with it. I only have time to play maybe a couple of times a day, so that means resetting most hobbies and stuff only twice a day. Most things take forever to do this way. Lately I've been super bored with the game anyway and sometimes I've only worked on the quest stuff and left the rest of the Sims idling, and then when I do go check on them it takes forever to inspire them after they've peed on the floor and all.

For me too it's been ages since I built new houses or did any decorating. I just have my Sims go to work and plant onions to get money for expensive things like the castle. I don't have large daily rewards like the older players, but I've been playing for long enough that I also feel reluctant to give up altogether.

I've just completed the 3rd set of modelling pose, instead of prompting me to complete the 4th set, the game now tells me to complete the 5th set... have submit a ticket to firemonkeys, let's see what they will be replying...
Before they replied, i've completed the 4th set... fortunately the task for 5th set is still active...

I've been very lucky with this quest. I had two Sims working on it and at least one of them got a new pose each time. Like Simmer1986 I wake in the night and got the chance to reset my Sims but that only accounts for a few poses. I finished all 5 grids with almost 5 days to spare and didn't use any LPs. It is possible, don't give up.

Yes I too noticed the same thing. Each time at least one sim would get a new pose. Right now I just have one more grid left to complete the quest. I did use a few LPs in the begining but not much.

I've used about 80 precious LPs trying to finally get these outfits as I can't spend every day on the iPad...it's totally unreasonable.
What with still attempting to save my sims with Platinum Orbs, I never get a chance to actually *play* the game, as I am constantly grinding away to get to the end. Then a lot of the time they age up and are useless seniors, so now I have an Aging population of seniors who are useless as their hobbies are crappy...why can't a senior dressmake, woodwork, or skate, or cast darn spells, or even ghost-hunt? It's ridiculous...I'm classed as a senior, and I can do all of the youngsters hobbies - no sweat, so why must they resort to fishing, cooking or flipping bird feeding, or quilting! Aaaaaargh! I'm fed up with this limitation nonsense!
I use d to love to create nice homes and enjoyed designing the gardens etc, but now don't get to do that anymore. My little guys are like hamsters on a wheel - going nowhere fast!
Freeplay! The clue is in the name, but it's not free at all...
Greed play would be a more fitting name! If you want stuff you have to pay for it With LPs or $'s, or pay with emotional tears of frustration.
Rant over...sorry guys

Noodles, I agree with all of that. That's what prompted me to modify my avatar a year ago. ;)

Of course the adult set is the last one awarded! Has anyone heard if we'll get a chance to buy the sets that we missed out on? I don't think I'm going to make it... :(

I have finished. I like the sleepwear, but I have a couple of small complaints. One is that there seems to be no way to remove it (like the toddler face paint). You can switch to a different outfit, but if you decide you prefer your guy in just pajama bottoms and he already is wearing a top, too bad. You can't remove just the top. The other is that certain costumes should be available as sleepwear as well. What if I prefer my werewolf to remain a werewolf in bed? Also it pretty much destroys the purpose of the coffins if you can't have your mummy, vampire, or ghost sleep in them.

I finished the quest yesterday morning. Can't wait to add other ages so I can out them in their new pajamas! What do the Seniors jammies look like?

Oh crud, telemwill. I'll keep that in mind when picking the pajamas now.
