Aerobic bench started crashing the game

In the last couple of days (i.e. not right after the latest major update), any attempt to use the aerobic hobby bench started to cause the whole game to crash. It’s the same no matter if I use a bench in a sim’s home or in the gym. I tried to download my game to another device but the same problem appears. The crash occurs at the moment when the sim approaches the bench and is about to start using it.

Has anyone seen the same problem?

While this update I didn‘t use the mats, yet, but tried it now. My sims could start right away without the game crashing. Only „trouble“ I saw is that one of them did not change her clothes - she‘s doing the Aerobic in dress and pumps

Did you try to take the mats into inventory, force close/open the game and then put them out again?

Yep I tried even selling some removing all from the town and placing new ones, but no change. Even that one in the gym causes the problem. Force closing the app, downloading the save to another device... none of the usual tricks helped.

Thanks for mentioning the clothes changing issue - it might be related - I will play a bit with the sports clothes assignment to see if it changes anything...

Oh this is interesting!

After changing the sim into activewear clothes, the sim could use the aerobic bench with no issues. After changing back to regular clothes, the sim would do the exercise in their regular clothes but without any crashing. Yay.

So, thanks Erin for the hint - I have no idea what was causing the problem but it’s resolved now

It’s indeed interesting that changing the outfit did help. *wishmodus on* Maybe the Firemonkeys are working on changing to chosen active wear like it works with sleep- and swim wear *wishmodus off* I‘d like that, but better without crashes.
