The Holiday Quest ‘Santa: The Musical’ will be starting from 12th of December, 7.00 a.m. UTC.

Note:

• The mentioned times are based on 3-star items, used by a fully inspired normal Sim. Not inspired and sad Sims will need more time.
• The required NPCs usually show up in the Sim tracker.
• Numbers of sims and items to be found depend on the game-level you’re on and if you have purchased the boost.
• The tasks can be done by teens, adults and probably by seniors. Preteens can not help in this quest.
• Tasks that require more than 1 Sim can be skipped with LPs. The amount reduces with every Sim that is done.
• Waiting times can be skipped with SP. The lower the waiting time, the lower the amount.
• It may be helpful to start early, if you know you can’t play the next day.
• Probably it will be cheaper to shorten some of the tasks that are not too long.
• As long as you have to wait for the next set of goals, you’re good in time! There’s no need to skip the waiting times or to shorten tasks.

I noticed I was able to skip tasks for LP. That is so much more affordable than SP!

What happens if you miss out on a deadline? Is it like SimChase and you don't get that day's prize, but still must make up the taskes before you go on? I panicked and used LP just before deadline, but want to know for future.

In the past we always got the prizes whenever we finished a set of goals. I don’t think it has changed the first time after playing the game for 11 years We just don’t have to wait for the next set. Of course we mustn’t be too late on the last day, the 25th of December.

This morning I opened my little test town and started the quest two days late. I got the 2nd set of goals right after completing the first set. And I got the prizes for both sets. (The town is on level 12, so skipping isn’t too expensive.) I‘m going to start the last task tonight and then open the game late tomorrow and post the result then.

Surprisingly I missed the deadline in my main game in the morning and opened the game late. I still got the 'Faux Reindeer Wreath'. Same in my test town.

The grand prize lot looks like it should be in MidTown…or Downtown. I’m not sure where to put it…I may have to move somebody.

I may end up gutting this one to create a more house-y house, like I did with Albion Square. I like the surroundings; just not the theater part of it.

It’s a shame these nice looking items are only 1 star. At least we know before place them, not like last year when the Christmas reward items were 3 star and then the FM downgraded them later to 1 star.
