Every time I do a hobby action, The Sims Freeplay completely freezes

Every time I tell my sims to do a hobby action, doesn't matter which one, when it shows what item I got, the game always completely freezes on the screen of the item. The music stops and everything. The entire device becomes silent and frozen, I cannot home button out or anything. I can power off the machine, but that is it. When I go and open the game again, most of the time I have to restore a cloud save after this freeze because it brings me to the "Begin new game" screen.

Does anybody know what the problem could be?

Are you using an older device not capable of latest updates? I recently tried to resurrect an old second game on a older tablet that isn't supported for updates anymore and it was dire! Painfully slow and constant crashes. Not your particular problem but far too much of a pain to be bothered with.

no, it is not an older device.

And it froze leveling up too. Looks like I cannot level up either.
