An apologize for the issue in SimChase 20: „Scare Bears“
This is for players who participated in the event, but I don‘t know the exact rules for who should have gotten this.
The text says: „… As a thank you, you have been gifted: 30 SP and all prizes from episode 5 onwards“. When I looked through my Home Store I found free items of most of the prizes except the episode 8 prizes. (I didn‘t touch those items in the current update.) Pictures of the prizes are at the event topic here.

How do you "redeem" the wallpapers and other gifts?

Only by using wallpaper in a room. You can't save the wallpaper offer to use when the offer expires.

For other items, I place them and then send to storage immediately if I don't want to use them. The label goes from FREE to 1. I'm not sure if you lose it when offer expires if you haven't placed it.

The price for „Rustic Weatherboards“ from the Online Store bundle Rustic Outdoor Pack here has been changed from 2 LPs to 6,250 Simoleons.

The prices for the the Wallpapers „Rustic White Wood“ and „Rustic Beige Panels“ from the Seasonal Quest „Missing Clause“
have been changed from LPs to Simoleons as well.

Our sims got some new interactions
For toddlers „Enjoy Story Time“. Have the toddler active and tap an arm chair for the action to show up. Then you need a free teen, adult or senior to take the toddler on their lap. (The game says, also preteens can, but if there‘s a preteen only, the toddler shows the footprints.)

Our sims can now sing Christmas Carols at the older Christmas Trees. The option also shows up for toddlers, but they can‘t do it.

I have added infos for „Magical Morocco“, the second part of this update, to the opening post.

More overlapping events...influence island plus crafting events. Then crafting runs into pregnancy event. I thought the relentless events with little or no time between was bad. But now I'm worried the overlapping events will be the new normal.

I would think new players would give up in frustration when you consider their added quests and limited sims.
