Re: Sims Freeplay demographics
Female, 46, in a long distance relationship.
Avid simmer since the pre-launch in 1999 (pre-ordered and received before the actual launch).
Fascinated with virtual life since The Game of Life in the late 70's, but wished for something interactive. Little Computer People in 1984 did just that. Populous was funny, but not really anything like Simming. I've also played Creatures, various Sim games and other (life) emulators/simulators. I owned every Sims game with almost every expansion pack, but SFP is the most convenient to play for me.
It's the only type of game appealing to me, even though I did play a lot of text adventures along the way.
As many of you already know, I love the pathfinding of the Sims (amongst many other things) and making it difficult for my sims to go from A to B. Resulting in various maze-like designs.

Yay! So far I'm the youngest player. I know it would not be long before someone else will replace me. But hey! I can enjoy the crown for now

Re: Sims Freeplay demographics
39 yr old, female.
My husband got me my first sims game, so that I would understand his need to play video games....little did he know I was going to get hooked! He got me the expansions and when The Sims Online came out, I remember him waking up and I was still at the PC working on skills. I enjoy playing SFP You would think it is the one place were you get to control every aspect until your donuts go up in flames and everyone runs around flailing their arms and SCREAMING! I am usually a lurker but I am enjoying this community and all the helpful advice everyone is willing to share.
