wow, respect Image My mom is 75 yr old, she likes her kindle but she only reads books. She plays solitaire on the computer though

I'm in my early 50s, net addict, had been on the internet since early 90s but not really game addict, SFP is first game that hold my attention for longer than a day. I currently live in California, I am the geek of the family :), maybe my future son-in-law will join me.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes and the cool card! :D
My birthday is actually Sept 30th, so it's passed now. But I had a good day. Simmies all had long tasks, and didn't miss me much. I baked a cake last week, but since I didn't want a growth spurt, I gave it to my toddler to be a pre-teen. In real life, I opted out of the big cake, and just had cupcakes with my family. Maybe that will the gray hairs away. :D

I loved Pong, but it wasn't until centipede came out, that I was hooked on video games for life. My parents (also gamers) made all of us kids play games together (indoor, outdoor, board games, card games, video games...), and when a new console would come out we got it. I still recall as a young teen meeting together with my siblings to make game strategies. That isn't too weird is it? :geek:  :)
Unfortunately my hubby isn't as much a gamer as I am, but he does respect my sfp time. :)

Bigbird wrote:I am an 85 yr old female and started playing SFP on my Kindle because it is free! lol Started in December 2012 and am now hooked. I was playing very properly... no hanky-panky without marriage, not letting a pre-teen go alone to the Community Center without an adult along, worrying about being able to lock the doors at nite, etc. I also stopped acquiring Sims at 24 because I thought that was a manageable nbr. Now I am at level 39 (15% away frm 40), town complete and 1 houseboat with several empty homes and cannot unlock another Sim until level 42. :( Because 2nd & 3rd level floors are still transparent on the Kindle, mine looks like an "Old lady" town! HaHa
My husband is 85 also and does not understand my obsession. I am woefully behind on my reading........... but I do lurk in the forums to laugh and learn.
:D wow I admire you so much Bigbird.....big hugs to you

45 year old widow - Mum of 3 - my tribe are almost 28, 24 & 3 weeks away from being 12. 5 grandkids aged 6, 3 and 2 year old triplets!

Came to sims late on in sims1 but never really got into it, played sims 2 and sims 3 with all expansion packs until sims 3 killed my PC. Only started SFP a couple of months ago to help withdrawal from sims 3 and am now hooked!

Run 2 charities and do graphic/web design to help fund them, my co-director runs a print firm also to help fund them. Play for at least a couple of hours/day. Based on the south coast in the UK.

I wish we could have triplets in sfp. Heck, I'd settle for twins even.

Wow 2 year old triplets bet they keep you busy. And a big gap between your eldest and youngest! I'm also on the south coast...Eastleigh!

They certainly keep my older son and his wife on their toes! They live down in Kent so I don't see them often. I don't envy my son when the teens hit, 3 teen girls under the same roof! The youngest was a surprise! I'm in Poole so only 30ish miles away. Small world we live in :D
