Missing Kitty

I just bought a new Siamese cat for my sim who just moved to her houseboat. But I went to look at my new kitty and she is not there!! When I go to the pet store it says she has a Siamese, but the cat is nowhere to be found. I've tried rebooting, calling the cat to a food bowl. I don't know what else to do


Edit: I found her. She had been sent to the house where her owner was living before I added the cat. No idea how that happened but at least I was able to relocate her to her proper home

Odds are she's under a bed. Cats can be tricky. They don't always come when called. Give it a little time. Shut game down and open back up-- log off and on. She's there somewhere.

Thanks for the tips but I've moved every bit of furniture already. The house was basically empty anyway. The cats not meowing. I've also completely rebooted the game twice. Only option now is to reinstall, but I can't do that right now as I have a sim visiting. Poor lost kitty

My siamese cat actually jumped out a window from the 2nd floor and went missing for a few minutes. She finally popped up in the first floor exactly below the room she jumped out of. Do cats do that in simsfp?

They fall through the ceiling...I've caught my kitty jump on toddler bed upstairs and land downstairs in the microwave three times now.
