for older users. its daily reward = 1/2 of 1% of town value (dr = tv x 0.005).
newer ??? all should have that formula unfair for new users and longer to get anywhere.

I think that's the reason I jumped from 0% to 26% at level 43 after modifying a few houses. I was wondering where all the xp came from.
Boosted my tv by a couple mil but took 8 mil to do it. I guess the return is in the long term.

When you are on a lower level, you can see the increase. I've changed pools for the last few percents to the next level, when I couldn't wait for the new stuff :)

Deleting the pool ADDS to TV??? That's interesting.

I wonder... if everyone posts their exact town value and the daily reward they get, we might be able to extrapolate the formula for towns after that date??

I tried to work it out myself a while back but didn't get very far. I only know that it's not a simple equation such as y=mx+c, it seems to be more complicated than that (curve on a graph rather than a straight line). Plus, I suspect some degree of rounding is involved at some stage, making it harder to work things out "exactly".

The other day (when I last wrote it down), my town value was 4,325,987 and my daily reward was 5,962. It's gone up a bit since then, but I'll have to wait until tonight before I get my reward.
pre-2013 players' formula is a constant percentage, while post-2013 players' formula is unfortunately not constant...

it appears that the percentage is higher when your TV is low, when the TV gets higher, the percentage is decreased... perhaps the only constant here is the decreased in percentage...

for e.g.
your town percentage for 5962/4,325,987 = 0.138%
my town percentage is 7663/54,250,000 (around this value) = 0.014%

I think anything that costs § to do, will add to your tv. Except gardening.

When you buy seeds and receipts at the supermarket, it increases the TV :)

Does the tv increase if you plant directly on your plot?

As soon, as I confirmed the purchase at the supermarket, the TV increases. The goods are delivered directly to garden plot and oven.
When I send my sim to plant or cook, I see a little icon like a backpack with the number of seeds/receipts instead of the simoleon amount.

We know, the charge for baking an gardening is glitched. Sometimes we have to pay again, when we come back to the house. This also happened with supermarket items :(

I see. So if you plant without purchasing the seeds from the supermarket, the tv doesn't increase. That's good to know. I should go for shopping more often.
