Return of the Zombie Sims

Post by katgames »

Okay, I've asked this before on the FM Forum and was told it was a glitch with Android devices -- but that got fixed, right? So why are their still Sims peeing and smelling and reeking so badly of neglect, they look like they are going up in flames? What's up with that? How do we feel about these Zombie Sims??? I have now visited towns where one family or even two Sims in a house are inspired and everyone else looks like an extra in "Return of the Zombie."

I honestly don't get it. Is it common practice to just keep one family inspired and let the others go? Is it still a glitch? Do I want scary neighbors? Do MY Sims ever look like that to anybody else, and what would make them that way??? It's just a little creepy and worrisome.

Quite agree. One of my Sims had to do WooHoo with a neighbour yesterday and finished up doing it with a lady with very poor personal hygiene, standing in a puddle of wee. Her smelly teenage son was in the room too, and her smelly husband in the room next door, getting angrier and angrier about the situation.

I've noticed something odd with that too. My Wabbit family was 100% inspired when I saved to the cloud, but 5 minutes later they showed uninspired while visiting from my other game. I've noticed the same in other towns, so I no longer assume neglect, unless they're in very bad shape.

I keep everyone inspired, so there shouldn't be any dirty Sims, unless it is intended.

Recently, I've noticed some other old glitches coming up again. I wonder if they're related..? These glitches began occurring last week.

For example, I had one adult gardening and one preteen watching tv. When they were finished, I sent them to work and school. A couple hours later I checked my game, and they were both at home... waiting for me to collect xp from gardening and tv! At first I thought I had simply forgotten to send them to work and school, but nope, it's happened again a few times. Sometimes my sims finish work early. And now one of my preteens insists on wearing his school uniform at home!

I'm not sure if these glitches are related, but similar things were happening during the original Zombie Apocalypse. Maybe there's something wonky about cloud saves again?

I just hope there will be no Time Warps this time.

The not going to work, but linger at home is a recent glitch.
The work-around is to wait for them to leave the lot or view the lot again.

Oh dear. Try Whohooing with a Sim from Amother Simtown. I have never seen any of them being zombified the times I visited. Just make a partner out of one of them and head there everytime the Woohoo goal comes up.

Ewwwweee! Noooooo... This IS wrong indeed on too many levels. As Pamjill suggests, use "Another Simtown," it's generic there and always clean.

Those Zombies scare my Sims. I don't was a Zombie coming to my town. *shivers at the thought*

That's kinda the reason I'm asking. Cuz I was considering unfriending some peeps -- then I saw it at a town, where I really did not expect it. It was some, but not all the Sims. But if they are ALL badly neglected and peeing everywhere it's probably not a glitch huh?

It makes me wonder if mine ever look like that? How can they look like that and I never see it??? How can they be changing from what I upload. *grabs hat* oh no! my brain is going to explode!

I especially worry about FB. I always play thru GC so I almost never upload via FB. Does that cloud get icky. My mind just can't grasp how it can be uploaded one way and change. It's alive!!! It's ALIIIVEE!!???

Kat, try logging in on Facebook and saving to the cloud. I was visiting you just now and seeing zombies and a crying baby. I wonder if my town looks the same to you since I am not on gamecenter?
It may just be that you are seeing an old save of our games.
