I can see things like the basketball goal ot the hockey net being limited, but not items that are truly needed to make the game more playable and enjoyable.
I second that!
I third that!

It's frustrating to know that some items are forever out of your reach only because you didn't start playing earlier. It feels so unfair.

Another option would be to repeat the goals. I don't know how "older" players would feel about it but they can always ignore the goals if they don't want to do them again, while the new players would have something new and exciting to do.

I would LOVE to have Construct-o-coins back, even for a very limited time. I started playing during the CC challenge, but as I was new to the game, I had no idea how important they were and I ended up resetting a game with a couple 2-story houses because I thought I can always reconstruct the floors later. Ever since I saw the price tag, I've been kicking myself over the decision. I'm still hoping CCs would come back but I guess it ain't gonna happen. To make things worse, these stupid idiotic SPs are permanent, while I keep wishing they would go away.

These things (missing out on 2-story houses and having to deal with SPs) make me so angry and frustrated I've thought of quitting the game, but I'm too addicted to quit and I still have a lot of fun playing the game. But still... argh.

i found a 5 x 5 does nicely as a tower. see my town #2 firehouse road ...
home of THE GREAT E.B.'s family park !!!

ladders and poles need a 3x2 space and spiral stairs need 2x2 but with a spot to step off on each floor. i didnt try them in a 4x4 though ... ladders and poles should work in a 4x4 but not a 3x3.

Nice work there nogard0. I'm afraid I ran out of space for mine cos I wanted to build mine at the two storey mansion. Maybe I'll modify the main house before going ahead with the tower. Right now i'm just farming §.

It is but with the pool (which I like and won't change) the only place I can place it is up front. There's room for a 4x3 but I'm not keen on the looks.

hmm ... the curved arch in back is useless ... cant go through it. so that 3x3 could be put to use if you made the pool smaller in back by 1 row. and only had 1 pool width pool skirt. then with the elimination of the arch and the 2 things beside it you could create a 3x5.

just ideas. though you have given me ideas ... buy i am NOT interested in making a §1M 2nd atory to a 3x5 building and a §2M 3rd story !!!

hmm i wonder if one can increase size of a 3 story 5x5 to larger without having to use money on upper floors. the first extension uses the outline of the whole contiguous building. ... hmm i wonder if it would do 2 buildings if corners touched or were separated by 1 space. i proved that has a continuous roof.
a 3x3 3x3 3x3 side by side separated by 1 space will have 1 roof. nice motel with individual cabins. you can see picture of it at the wandering path topic.

That's a good idea since I've already did away with the useless arch. Resizing the pool however would be quite costly though. I will sit on it for a while and see what I can do. The extra floor cost is okay by me since I've already added a 3rd floor to the main house a while back so there's that. Right now I'm saving money to buy a firepole so I can actually get to the third floor that I built. So the mini tower / hobby shack will have to wait.

a tower in that spot could have a door leading to back yard. unlike the arch youd see sims going through it. i wish we could have 1x? rooms would allow for halls and an artificial arch/path with roof.

i think multiple stories on separate buildings will each cost §1M etc even if in same yard. could ask.

word on the filepole ... it requires a 3x2 area with pole/ladder in middle. so minimum 3 story building would require a 3x4 building with little room for much else.

Nope. Once you built additional stories in a building, it applies for all structure in that yard even if it is not connected to each other.
That said, resizing the pool at the two storey mansion by one grid will cost half a million. Gasp!
