I dont like enemy/nemesis ones. Or that i got a quest that required a pre teen when i was only Level 9 and you cannot get a preteen until L21 :/ that one sat waiting for a very long time.
Oh and ones that require a specific, yet small, time period. Had one that had to be done at 5-7pm for over a week that i eventually skipped. I have so much to do at that time of day :/ or at midnight.

I really wish the 'buy a ....' Quests would allow items you already bought be counted for. There are onky so many completely useless items i can hold in my inventory, i onky need 1coffee machine/fridge/sofa per house etc. i dont need millions or outdoor furniture and trees >.<

What's cheating? The pet glitch? If yes, that's not a cheat it's taking advantage of a flaw in the game. No cheat was necessary. Just moving ones sims around.1010AM wrote:hoho, i never knew it.,, coz evry cheating i know is to fast forward action,,, and never did it..EmmyBerry wrote:of course that is considered cheating lol

No he was changing the time on his device which perturbee already explained shouldn't be done cause it messes up the game.

Purposely taking advantage of a glitch for benefit, especially glitches that you can make reoccur by doing certain actions and using that glitch instead of stopping that action and reporting the glitch is against TOS in most games.

Re: Goals - That Make Me Mad
Perturbee said that there is a different time cheat that can mess up your game (something about jumping the time to finish long tasks faster) but I don't know how to do that one. She also said that if you needed to do something at a certain time, like send your Sims to work on time, but wouldn't be available to do it at the pre-set time, that you could change your TIME ZONE, but that she wouldn't recommend changing it by more than a couple of hours.EmmyBerry wrote:No he was changing the time on his device which perturbee already explained shouldn't be done cause it messes up the game.
It doesn't work more than 1 hour forward, but it will work 3 hours back. I found that out during the Christmas quest, when I was traveling and knew I wouldn't be able to do something at 10 am. I tried changing my time zone to 2 hours ahead, but it wouldn't take - it did take 1 hour ahead. This could be because I am on the east coast of the US and the only time zone that is listed is San Juan, Puerto Rico, which is 1 hour ahead of South Florida. So I set my time zone for Los Angeles, CA, left my Sims gardening for 4 hours, and by the time I arrived, their briefcases were all flashing (it was 1 pm my time, but 10 am LA time).
I saved the game, sent them all to work, put my time zone back to Florida and re-saved the game again. They worked all day (got home later than usual, obviously), so I didn't get to do their evening hobbying, but I was busy doing family stuff, so it was OK. I set them for bed or all night gardening and played as usual the next day. I play on an iPad.
This did not mess up my school children who were already at school or my athletes who were already at work when I changed the zone to accommodate my 10 am shift. They were finished work when I arrived at my destination, I collected their XP and set them to gardening and studying and making music before I put the time zone back. It did not speed up their completion of tasks (& I didn't want it to do that). I think the bad time cheat speeds up completion and that's the one that messes up the game. It's different from changing your time zone and I don't know how to do it (& don't want to know!)
I suspect that if I lived in Kansas, I could probably time zone 3 hours in either direction, because the listed cities on my iPad would be more evenly spread out on either side of my map. Being on the east coast, you can't really put a time zone that's in the middle of ocean (I did try Iceland, but it wouldn't let me do that - I can change to any time zone in the US or Canada without a problem). It works for regular things, but not the Christmas quest - I finished at 10:00 pm Christmas Eve and was tired, so I changed to Puerto Rico to see if midnight would come at 11 PM for me so I could get my reindeer and go to bed. Nope - midnight came and went, I even turned off and turned on the iPad. So I went to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night to check - got the notice and got my reindeer. Saved the game, closed everything, re-set the time zone and went back to bed.
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

Re: Goals - That Make Me Mad
To the ones who said the goals about getting divorced I'm shocked!!! I've actually never had that option or quest for my sims to get divorced. If I do I think I might cry because my characters all have a back story even the pre teens and teenagers.
I don't like how a lot of quests repeat for me. Like for example I've gotten the quest to build 2 best friends statuses like 4x but I never have to complete them because t he game recognizes it and finishes it. I just wish I could get some more newer quest chains. I also don't like "have your toddler play with a kiddie pool". I always have to spend 5 LP to skip it because I don't have a toddler and I can't add a sim yet until level 36. I suppose I could delete a sim but I love all my characters and like others have said I can't bear the thought of them being enemies.

Re: Goals - That Make Me Mad
Well the divorce goal is one of the "tutorial" goals and only came up once for me. The have a nemesis goal is fulfilled in your own town if you keep the nemesis relationship (not in the neighbours goals though where you have to make a nemesis each time). It's useful to keep that nemesis relationship too as the slap a sim one still comes up!Markeemark22 wrote:To the ones who said the goals about getting divorced I'm shocked!!! As for the kiddie pool goal, it works just as well with a preteen.
