Do I have to do these things on the island or can I do them on the normal city?

You can get the resources from doing tasks on the normal city, from what I have seen. Doesn't have to be on the island. :P

Any suggestions on getting gold? I have tons of pickaxes and granite, but no gold.

Are you able to get more resources than you actually NEED to upgrade all the monuments to level 70? (ie can only get 2485 pickaxes/gold/bamboo etc.) Or after you get all the resources you need, they stop randomly appearing?

I have way more ressources than i need to upgrade my monuments.
I have 2500 axes when only 2000 would be enough (i am level 30).
FB : Catalina Delphine (look for the squirrel ;) )

Those extra resources could be useful for the goddess monument if you only take the deals that use those common items, that's what I'm doing :)

Does anyone have a link to the monument life points totals? I couldn't find any guide or map to the lifepoint costs. I was looking for the essential minimum needed to upgrade all four monuments to Lvl. 25 if only life points were used... Thanks.

Formula as below:

LP to upgrade 1 level for a monument = (Next level * 3) * 3
