Here's something else teens can do, sort of: they can go to the nightclub. They can dance, sit at the tables and use the bathrooms. They cannot DJ, tend bar, or drink. So, if we have one adult show up to DJ, we can have nine teens dancing at the club. Pretty cool, huh?

I have 10 teens and two preteens, but sending preteens to the nightclub just seems wrong to me. I was a little upset that preteens could drink espresso, too!

Of course my preteens don't go to the nightclub, but sometimes to the childrens disco in the afternoon

Just sent my teens and preteens over to the afternoon disco to make friends with Skye. I discovered that for teens you can go beyond being Best Friends to being Best Friends Forever (only with other teens, not adults nor preteens).

And got a pearl from dancing!

Teenagers get the option of making "Chai Tea" when clicking on a Tea Pot. I don't think it is available to any other SIMS. The only reason I know is that this just came up as a goal on my Weekly Quest and I had to figure it out.

Teenagers can also 'learn to drive' for 6 hours! I don't know who learns to drive for 6 hours at a time. It also requires an adult sim.

1. Refrigerator - 2 hours - 327 xp - Stare blankly
2. Microwave - 15 mins - 82 xp - 4 day old takeaway
3. Espresso machine - 1 min 30 sec - 22 xp - Skinny Latte
4. Shower - 35 mins - 135 xp - Sing heart out
5. Deck Chair - 18 hours - 1380 xp - Waste a whole day

Note: time and xp depend upon quality of items

I'm desperately searching for an espresso machine where I can have a teen make the skinny latte. I've tried all sorts of coffee machines, but no skinny latte is there. Is it a special machine, and where do I find it?

A totally different question: How do I make a sim date another sim (in a neighbour City)? Woohoo'ing one doesn't seem to count!

To date someone, you need to be romantic until you reach the relation level equivalent to date. It don't know if it is called "date" in English but you need to reach this level, I mean you mustn't be at the level before and by being romantic, you reach the level.
I don't know if my explanations are clear....

And as the skinny latte is concerned, I will have a look at my game and I will let you know. Have you tried the action which lasts 1mn20 on a coffee machine, whatever the name of the action is ?

My Teen can make Skinny Latte - it's the fourth option on an expresso machine. Are you definitely trying with a Teen - not a pre-teen? (Sorry if this sounds obvious)

Any coffee maker works, teens make skinny latte and pre teens make hot chocolate it's weird that both teens and pre teens can also drink all the coffees.

teens not being able to babysit is just dumb. Thats how many teens in real life get extra pocket money. How did they overlook that!!
