I wasn't using the supermarket at all, just planting, planting, planting. Now that I figured out by buying the seeds ahead of time, I can save Simoleans, I started shopping there on Friday for my seeds. I stocked up on corn, watermelon, potatoes, zucchinis, onions, garlic and beans. I plant the long term stuff over night (everybody that isn't at work stays up all night gardening) and use the shorter term stuff to work in between when goals are going to be finished so that somebody is always available to tackle the next goal and relieve the former goal oriented Sim to either go to work or garden themselves.
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

I guess I am lucky that I started way back when, even though I didn't get to play for almost a year. I get almost $28,000 in my DR mailbox. Town Value not quite $6,000,000. I know I signed up on the first day SFP came out, played for about a month and then Real Life interfered. Forgot about it and was always playing Sims3, but now they are coming out with Sims4 and I thought do I really want to spend all that money on the game expansion packs and stuff packs again? I mostly built houses in Sims3 because I'm not very good at controlling my Sims - it got really complicated after Sims2 and I just had trouble learning it. SFP is easy for us non-tech types, even if we have been Simming for 20 years in one form or another.

older player: town value §27,764,119 . daily reward is 1/2 of 1% of town value (dr = tv x 0.005) = §138,821
town value is in signature. changed when it changes.

Raising your town value is pretty much pointless for anyone who started playing in 2013.

My town value is over $600,000,000 and I only get $13,000 for it.

I didn't think I started playing until March of this year, but I must have started before January by the looks of it...oh how time flies when you're having fun! My TV is around 66,000,000 and daily reward of around 330,000. I feel bad for all the players that are capped at such a low amount, not sure if I would enjoy playing the game as much if I had to work so hard for money...but I probably would!

i have stood on the give everyone the same 1/2 of 1% soapbox for ages . just because someone is new doesnt mean the rules should change !!! i dont think i should deserve more than the new people just because i started earlier. they have missed out on a lot from the items that were in the updates that arent available anymore ... give them a break GM. in other games all is available for everyone no matter when they started !!! their only handy cap should be that they have to hustle butt to get up to where everyone else is at IF they want to !!!

as for,me i may have 15 houses, most unoccupied, with 12 sims and i take it slow. i dont think that the same house should cost much more or take longer to build. what is this ... a town where builder loose expertise EVERY TIME they build the same building ???
