As far as I know it's only the conifers. I took them from all my gardens to use around my haunted house.

Made my Sci-Fi shuttle haunted. Thanks Pertubee for the inspiration.
I find it has an good layout for ghosthunting. It is on a standard lot so I'll have to see how it goes with 10 ghosthunters on it.

Going to update tomorrow and do some test runs with my setup. And get used to the recharge timer :roll:

One of the easiest ways to do the ghost hunting is to have several items in the area so that you can hunt with other items while your usual ones recharge. That's what I'm doing with the ghost hunting maze thingy I'm building now. I'm trying to put as much ghost items in there as possible because of the new timers.

How does the recharge timer work exactly? I placed 3 haunted items in one house and had 3 sims do a ghost hunt but all using the same item. I thought the other 2 that weren't used would not reset, but all items reset themselves to be recharge after the first hunt. Should I be placing the items in different houses to avoid this?

If the item that they end on is a haunted item then the timer of this item will also be triggered. So basically you would need to have much more haunted items in a house, less ghosthunters in a house at once or spread them across different houses.
Either way, ghosthunting is not as fast as it was before.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the clarification.

grrrrr...The only sim who had reached level 6 ghost hunting is now a wood worker so I need to level up another sim from scratch in preparation for the update. The prizes better be worth it.

Bring on this update, I'm ready!

I will be finished with the high school this afternoon and I brought my traveling SIM back home. Saved to the cloud, did some hobby grinding for LPs, my ghost hunters were already all level 6 (5 of them) but I remade my haunted house and have tons of haunted items out.

So let's get this thing started!

My Great Ghost Escape has started and I'm currently leveling up my ghost hunters!
On accepting the challenge it resets your ghosts and the rewards screen changes to this:

The 4th row reward is wicked wallpapers.
Catching each row of ghosts unlocks Halloween prizes. But wait, there's more.....

So far each ghost hunt levels up your level 6 hunter by 2% :)
But no mention of the haunted house so far :(

I want those costumes! My teens are going to never stop wearing them, they are so cool. I wonder how the putting green works? Will there be tasks.

I'm one ghost from finishing, thanks for the heads up. I want my 3 LPs, have about 8 hours to find that last ghost. :P
