No idea about the putting green but the one we had last Christmas was rather underwhelming with just one brief action of 3 minutes I think. Good luck with the last ghost!Lucyvp867 wrote:*squeals*
I want those costumes! My teens are going to never stop wearing them, they are so cool. I wonder how the putting green works? Will there be tasks.
I'm one ghost from finishing, thanks for the heads up. I want my 3 LPs, have about 8 hours to find that last ghost.

OMG!
Is that new stairs and an elevator I see... wow, I want it now!!
Have to wait a couple more hours though, and I won't have much time before bed... but I think I know what I'm going to be doing on Monday!!
What is the putting-green I wonder? I mean, I know what a putting-green is, but will this be like a house type thing, or like the Swimming Centre and Snow Park - a place for sims to gather away from home? Or will it be like the monuments, just something boring to click on every so often? Or, it could just be a piece of furniture to put in any house you like.
I really wanted a haunted house though and some scary adult costumes. I hope we get them too!
How long do we get to do it all; 12 days??
Also, if we unlock all the stuff, do we get to keep it forever even if we don't use it within the time frame? I'm thinking about the Teen costumes primarily as I have no teens at the moment. If I don't use them now, will I never be able to use them?

New wallpaper and the very gaudy Halloween party table which is non-interactive. The flooring hurts my eyes (and will probably chase all ghosts away) so I'll let you discover them yourselves.

This was the putting green Santa brought last year, so don't expect too much

Yes it's 12 days. Generally when we lock costumes, we get to keep them permanently. For wallpaper and flooring they usually disappear after the time period so if you change them they are gone. Of course items you buy will stay in your inventory eg the gaudy Halloween table!

Had to switch to my iPad so I could get a better look! The itty bitty screen on my iPhone wasn't cutting it.
I'm so excited, I missed all the major holiday things over the past year. I have the worst timing when it comes to when I decide to put this game down for a couple of months. I finally got the timing right!
That table? Was it designed by the same person who designed those gawd-awful neon snow coats? I really....really....really didn't like them.
So just the table and wallpaper? I thought there was supposed to be new haunted items as well? No?
Booooo!
I really wanted that haunted house to come back, I missed it last time. I also missed the Santa gifts, again, horrible timing. We have a putting green just like that in our house. My son and husband are avid golfers and the kid is on a golf team. So yeah, looks just like the one that gets rolled down my hallway so he can practice putting.
I think it's cute, maybe it's haunted and will give ghosts? Or the ball moves away on its' own because it's haunted?
6 more hours!! Come on, already!
(Edit to add: I saw the list on the elevator, costumes. I just thought there would be more. More! More! Give us more!)

After this is all over, will we still be able to get the ghost containment tank again? I was one ghost away from getting it before this update.

I don't know, but if you really want it, to be on the safe side - get as many sims as possible to go ghost hunting before midnight (your local time). If it's already past midnight for you, then you'll just have to wait and see, but until midnight you should be able to get it. (Though it doesn't do anything even remotely useful).mrs_smartt wrote:After this is all over, will we still be able to get the ghost containment tank again? Re: The Great Ghost Escape, 21st of October
I only have 2 ghost hunters and I filled up my house with at least 1 of each haunted object this morning. As soon as Andie got home from work, I sent her over - she's my only level 6 and we were only missing 1 ghost - finally just got him! So I quick went and got my container just in case. I might have Rolanda ditch fashion design for the time being, so I can have 3 hunters.
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

Do you guys remember the "great firepole sale"? Where for CC's, we could sell the firepoles for a bunch of simoleans?
I am hoping something like that happens here, maybe the haunted elevators? I will ghost hunt till my eyes cross to get more bucks
. Although, I'm still pretty rich from selling all those firepoles.
I have 5 ghost hunters and a ton of everything. I did some test runs today and even with that many? I still struggled to find items there were haunted.
This includes two of those 60 LP skeletons, they really should have a 1 minute recharge for that price.

Re: The Great Ghost Escape, 21st of October
I have a skeleton, but he came with the skateboard house, so I didn't buy one. That would wipe out more than half of my LP bank. I did get one of every painting and 1 of the all the things you pay Simoleans for, including the scarecrow that just became available for me. Hope it's enough, I can try to add some of the cheaper things if I find out I need them, but with 2 or 3 hunters in a small house and not being able to play while I'm at work, I hope it will work out. I have a level 6, a level 4 and a novice convert from fashion design. I just put everybody to bed, saved my game and am heading for bed myself
.
