Completing the ghost hunting isn't giving me the haunted house in my build option either on the normal pot or the premium plot. When I started playing last year, I didn't know that it was a limited thing so I let it go. I guess I will never have it in my town. :(

About the deleting a house, I clicked the wrong button when I started playing again and lost everything. I was so mad! I lost an expensive spiral staircase and tons of furniture. Grrrr....I had meant to just remove the rooms and put the items back in storage but got confused and chose the wrong option.

Thanks for looking to see if we could get the haunted house again.

Ouch. That spiral staircase is quite a loss. I'd be mad too.

I've been hunting every chance I get. Managed to get a few Level 7 hunters now.
I just found Beetlgeist - he's come out twice before but I wasn't quick enough. So now I've set up an elaborate maze of old kitchenware in my house that should slow the ghosts down a bit! Got to get to Level 8 now to unlock the last few...

To be honest though, I'm rather disappointed so far. The extra items aren't anything really special, and you still have to pay for them anyway. They should be free after all this effort. I can't imagine ever wasting that much money on the elevator when you think I could get a 2-story mansion for that price.

And what's the point in all these haunted items if we haven't got anywhere to put them?! - I really wanted a haunted house, that would have been much better than all this gaudy stuff. I'm not even sure it was worth spending all those LP on paintings.

At least, some ghosts give you LP when you get them, and every sim that reaches Level 7 after the first gets you an extra LP, so it's not too bad.

By the way people; each instance of an item is considered different. So, don't bother getting one of everything, just get lots of paintings. Even if you have 10 copies of the same painting, each one has its own individual recharge timer.

I have a haunted house set up if anyone is interested. It is to the left of my firehouse, black siding, black roof, easy to spot from above. All the goodies are there. I got my crazy lady, Delilah the ghost hunter, up to level 6 before last night, and she found them all and is maxed out at level 8. Lots of paintings, especially upstairs. Lishws720 on Game Center. I even have the weather maker set to nighttime and storm for added ambiance!

Once I've unlocked the Putting Green (at least that's free! - Can I have as many of those as I want or is it limited to one?), is there anything else to do, or is that it all finished?

If I "Hunt Again" and reset the grid, can I get anything else or just XP? - If I do this, the new items don't dissapear do they? I mean, I will still be able to buy them later if I have not done so already?

Thanks.

Just getting started here. I do like the western looking wallpaper. I just used it in one of my teens bedrooms. The floors look pretty tacky to me. Might be fun for a party room. I hope we get to keep the items to use when we wish. I could see building a hotel with a haunted elevator down the road, but it is not something I have the simoleons to do in the next couple of weeks.
