I am a terrible person. Poor Andromeda is locked in a house with no doors and I surrounded it with those conifer trees to keep the little beasties from getting out. So far, so good, although they are speedy little buggers.
No escape!
No escape!
I took off the exterior door and removed the bathroom and kitchen door - the ghosts get through by Andie doesn't get in my way. I'll put the doors back and move some of the trees when she's ready to go home. She was getting scared so I put the phone back in so she could call her mom.
I think, therefore, I Sim! (Or I did before they told me to "harvest" them)

Can anyone tell me where the Halloween Party Table can be found? I've unlocked it but cannot find it in the store or inventory.

It should be in your home store in the Dining Room tab. It costs $900.

Poor Andromeda! Why don't you find her some ghost hunting companions so they can all suffer together?

I was going to ask if this approach is useful. I keep nearly losing the new ghosts, and was trying to think of ways to block them in. If you don't mind, I'll also try it.

Has anyone else noticed that sometimes haunted items are resetting without being used for ghost hunting? I'm thinking that it might not be random, and that I might be clicking on them when chasing ghosts, which for some reason drains them. I have plenty of haunted objects in my ghost hunter house, but it's a bit annoying.

When your ghost hunter finished searching and his/her position is in front or beside an haunted item (which you did not tap to initiate search for ghost), that haunted item is affected and will start time reset...

Oh Andie called in reinforcements, now they are all trapped. No ghosts have gotten away :). I modified it slightly to have a door from the kitchen to the yard where the scarecrow is. But he's all blocked in by shrubs. I relocated the front door to be the kitchen door, so when they leave, I move a bush. That lets others vist come to visit and hunt and the escape route is minimal, since there is only one space ghosts can get through. I block it when I am there, but I know you can't do it to a neighbor's house.

It's worked well for me, I am not a good ghost grabber, and I haven't lost one yet. Got Andie to level 7 last night, caught Beetlegeist and now we're working on catch all ghosts for an hour or so, until they (and I) start work. My newbie, Rolanda, who gave up her fashion hobby, has actually caught the weirder ghosts - maybe because she IS a newbie? I have 4 more to go, but it's going to take a long time.

Glad your escape proofing works so well. I added conifers on both sides of my haunted house too, and found them very helpful. Good luck to Andie and Rolanda and Happy Hunting!

I was thinking... in the absence of a proper haunted house, what I thought might be a cool idea is to get one of the Economy Houseboats and transform it into a Haunted Barge!

Basically, it's a way to use the new stairs without having to spend 1million on a second story.

What do you think? - Good idea or just silly?

I think that's a good idea! A haunted barge sounds spooky, and the lot (water and road) does look a little perilous at night. Hope you do it and post some photos, would love to see.
