Was enough to upgrade one monument to level 3 lol. Slowly but surely

Resources: 1 onyx in 24 hours with 25 Sims doing their various things. That's it. No more resources. Conclusions, anyone?

(I know we've been over this before, but I'm aggravated again. Should it even be considered part of the game?)

Me too. Haven't gotten any gold since Monday night and all 15 Sims are doing everything. I've tried switching crops, long showers vs short, long term baking, short and long time hobby practices, going to work, playing with pets, using every appliance in all modes, using all furniture in all modes... Not a darn thing since Wednesday when I got a bronze at a neighbors, but it never showed up - even got the message to upgrade, but it wasn't there.

Hardly getting any resources recently as well. Then again I was busy yesterday evening doing 32 regular goals in 2 hours and hardly sprayed the toilet. I guess they tweak the resources now and then, just to frustrate us!

I try to take the resources as they come, not to worry overmuch about them. I am happy that I managed to unlock all 4 houseboat slots, but at the moment am not building more than one houseboat as I don't really like the smallness of the lot size. I am actually at level 7 with 2 monuments and level 8 with the other 2 without using much LPs to upgrade. Not bothered really about getting the volcano going

I have found the same thing over the last couple of days. Playing with 25 sims for 24 hours a day, including a couple of hours doing hobbies in 4 min sessions with all of them, doing goals, seeing to their needs, caring for pets and spraying with that toilet I only got a couple of resources. In the past I would have got a lot more. It is so frustrating!

Yah, it's slow going. I'm at Level 8 Riches of the Terra, Level 7 Flames of Wisdom, and Level 5 Temptest of Bliss. I can't even start the other one yet. I did the original race and made got the treasure,etc., so I've been at this awhile... Guess this is like the rest of our game in a way. It's just not very fast. There are like 70 levels each, right? Seems sort of impossible but igneous rock, by sponge, by bamboo, by gold bars I'll eventually get there. *sighs*

I'm finding most of mine while planting hamburgers, naturally he he. I'm 16% through level 39, not until I lock that lost monument, oh and a new Sim.

Hamburgers??? That must be another level I'm not at 30 yet. I am only on level 2 and 3 of the first two... Sigh... Getting a pick axe now and then, some magma and embers, but no gold or bronze at all. It's been 5 days since I got either of those and my Sims are working on all the goals, doing all their every day tasks. I've got some people gardening while Charlie is trying everything in the new house. Nothing! My children's store is finished, had to buy a rocking horse even though one came with the house, so I put the extra one in Aunt Rosemerta's house, in case Molly goes to visit. Found out that the new house came with stuff worth a few hundred life points, so when Molly becomes a toddler, she'll be happy! That's the next goal - grow her up. Taking pix with all the honorary aunties and uncles who are visiting today, then will see if the first birthday cake shows up. If not the other one will be done around 7 but I can finish it early with a couple of LP if I need to. Maybe I'll get some resources if Molly starts doing stuff around the house.

UPDATE: Molly just got a bronze for playing with the dog!

I just had Lee visit Bazlit's HFN to get closer to my level up. He just changed jobs to try to be a rock star instead of an artist. We did the Febreze toilet for 10 minutes during lunch. I got 575 XP every other time - which was a lot - usually whoever is visiting only gets the extra XP about every 5th time. BUT the best part was, I got 5 bronze, 7 igneous rock, 2 granite and 1 gold. After nothing for days, this was great! No magma ember though - will have to try ice skating again tonight. Last magma I got was from ice skating. If I can get some magma I can bump up my flames of wisdom. I wonder if being temporarily unemployed had anything to do with it?
